Women of Faith and Courage“The hour is coming, in fact has come, when the vocation of women is being acknowledged in its fullness, the hour in which women acquire in the world an influence, an effect and a power never hitherto achieved. That is why, at this moment when the human race is undergoing so deep a transformation, women imbued with a spirit of the Gospel can do so much to aid humanity in not falling”.
Pope John Paul II, Mulieris Dignitatem #1

Women of Faith and Courage...

Our Catholic tradition is rich with examples of women who have been empowered to be the light of Christ, spreading the Good News of the Gospel message, lifting up the oppressed, and giving strength to those who live in fear — the voice of peace in a sea of violence. Our Women’s Conference logo celebrates just a few of the saints and holy women who have answered the call to love and serve the Lord.
