Fr. Weber entered the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota in 1993. He graduated in 1997 with a BA in Philosophy and in Catholic Studies. Fr. Weber was sent to Rome to live at the Pontifical North American College and study at the Pontifical Gregorian University. He completed his STB in 2000 and began studies for his STL.
 
On June 9, 2001, Fr. Weber was ordained a priest for the Lansing diocese and served as parochial vicar at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in Ann Arbor until 2004. He then served as pastor of St. Catherine of Labouré Parish from 2004-2007 and the Priest Assignment Commission from 2004-2006. During that time, he completed his STL in Rome at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross with a concentration in Church History.
 
His STL thesis topic was: The Compatibility of Catholicism with American Democracy and Rights in the Campbell-Purcell Debate (1837).
 
In addition to teaching homiletics and theology in the College of Liberal Arts, he will also serve the institution on the Undergraduate Commuter Admissions Committee.
