Aaron Adamkiewicz

Aaron Adamkiewicz is a member of St. Sebastian Parish in Dearborn Heights. He has lead strategic planning for First Catholic Federal Credit Union, as well as in his home parish. He has served on the parish Stewardship Commission, the Parish Council, and as Chair of the Parish Planning Committee.


Hermenia Adams

Hermenia Adams is a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish in Detroit and a Human Resources professional at Ford Motor Company involved in developing and assessing project plans. She has served on the Parish Pastoral Council, on the Evangelization Team and Evangelization Commission, and as a Sunday School teacher. She is a member of the Renaissance Vicariate Council and served on the Together in Faith Subcommittee for that vicariate.


John Antilla

John Antilla is a member of St. Nicholas Parish in Capac. As Board President, he lead a strategic planning process for the Capac Community Schools and has been involved in strategic planning at Chrysler as a Program Management Analyst. He helped form a joint Pastoral Council for the St. Nicholas, St. Cornelus, and St. John the Evangelist parish cluster. He is a member of the Thumb Vicariate and served on his Parish Pastoral Council and Building Committee.


Kevin Atkinson

Kevin Atkinson of White Lake is a member of Our Lady of Refuge Parish in Orchard Lake. He brings extensive building and leadership experience to the council, having worked on a long range plan for the parish which included construction of a new gym. He has served as president of his local Parents' Club, on the School Committee, the Parish Council, and the Vicariate of the Lakes Council.


Benny Cruz

Benny Cruz is a member of St. Stephen-Mary Mother of the Church Parish in Detroit and a school principal. He helped establish the parish council at St. Gabriel Parish, and is currently Parish Council President and Choir Director at his home parish. He has an extensive background in bilingual education.


Victoria Figueroa

Victoria Figueroa is a member of Corpus Christi Parish in Detroit. As a pharmaceutical sales representative, she is involved in developing and executing monthly and yearly business plans. She serves on the Parish Pastoral Council, Stewardship Commission, the Faith Formation team, and the Evangelization Committee. She also served on the merger committee that brought St. Gerard and Immaculate Heart of Mary parishes together to form Corpus Christi Parish.


Mario Giacona

Mario Giacona of Roseville is a member of St. John Vianney Parish in Shelby Township. He has extensive leadership experience as the General Manager of a vending and food services company. He has served on the Parish Council and Stewardship Committees of his home parish, and as chair of the North Macomb Vicariate Council.


Rhonda Gilbert

Rhonda Gilbert is a member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Detroit and is a retired Detroit Public School teacher. She has served on school and parish strategic planning teams, as well as on the Parish Council, Education Commission, and the Administration Commission.


Jim Gismondi

Jim Gismondi is a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish in Farmington Hills. He has served in several senior corporate positions with Ford Motor Company, IBM and BBDO, where as Group Vice President, he was responsible for strategic planning. He has been a member of the Parish Council, the parish CSA Chair, and youth athletic coach. He is a member of the Vicariate Council and was on the Together in Faith Committee at his home parish.


Barbara Glinski

Barbara Glinski is a member of St. Fabian Parish in Farmington Hills and a former High School English Teacher. She founded a parent support group at Detroit Country Day School, and started a Vicariate Bible Study program in her parish. For the last two years she has served on the steering committee for the archdiocesan Women's Conference.


Louis E. Joseph

Louis E. Joseph is a member of St. Martin de Porres Parish in Warren, and a Planning Commissioner for the City of Warren. He retired after a 32-year career in strategic planning for Pfizer, Inc. In addition to serving on the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council, he is on his parish's Stewardship and Worship Commissions.


Norbert Kidd

Norbert Kidd is a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish in Detroit and a Detroit Public School teacher, where he has worked on the school improvement plans and Skillman Grant proposals. He volunteers in many capacities at his home parish, including service on the Worship and Stewardship Commissions, and is a member of the Renaissance Vicariate Council.


Vincent (Dick) Lajiness

Vincent (Dick) Lajiness is a member of St. Anne's Parish in Monroe, and the retired Director of Environment and Safety Legislative and Regulatory Affairs, where he developed and implemented 5 year strategic plans. He has served on the Parish Council and as the chair of the Men's Club and the Evangelization Committee, in addition to being a coordinator for the archdiocesan Men's Conference. He also served on the Monroe Vicariate subcommittee for the Together in Faith process.


Mary Lambrix

Mary Lambrix is a member of Guardian Angels Parish in Clawson. As President of the Bishop Foley Catholic School Board, she helped create and implement 5 year plans. She has served her parish on the Parish Pastoral Council, the Hospitality Committee, the Christian Service Commission, and Education Commission. She has been chair of her Vicariate Council and part of the Together In Faith process.


Laura Lauer

Laura Lauer is a member of St. Cyprian Parish in Riverview and a public policy analyst and nonprofit consultant. She volunteers extensively her parish and many others parishes, beginning in 1986 with an Hispanic Youth Ministry at St. Agnes Parish in West Chester Pennsylvania. She has served on the Vicariate Council and the Together in Faith sub-committee.


Stephen Lawless

Stephen Lawless is a member of St. Joseph Parish in Lake Orion, and a Process and Information Technology Implementation Engineer for General Motors, where he has created and executed strategic and tactical plans for large scale users. He is involved with the Boy Scouts where he has lead strategic planning efforts. He has served on the Parish Council and the Planning Focus Team and as a member of the Vicariate Council.


Richard Lewnau

Richard Lewnau is a member of Prince of Peace Parish in West Bloomfield, and the retired Manager of Corporate Business Development in Acquisitions and Divestitures for Ford Motor Company. He was very involved in strategic planning there, and now as the Chair of the Finance Committee of the Board of Catholic Social Services of Oakland County. He has served multiple roles on the Parish Council and Committees, is a member of the Vicariate of the Lakes and served on Together in Faith subcommittees.


Robert McBrayer

Robert McBrayer is a member of St. Patrick Parish in Wyandotte, is retired from BASF and a retired Navy Reserve Commanding Officer. He has been involved in strategic planning in a variety of settings. He has served multiple terms on his Parish Council, the Worship Commission and is a member of the Vicariate Pastoral Council.


Edward (Chip) Miller

Edward (Chip) Miller (Chair) is a member of St. Paul Parish in Grosse Pointe Farms, and was chair of the Together in Faith Phase One Coordinating Committee. He serves on the Invest Detroit Board of Directors and as Chairman of its Investment Committee is vice chairman of the Detroit Investment Fund. A retired Executive Vice President at Standard Federal Bank, he is also the founder of Kenwood Advisors, L.L.C., a strategic and financial management advisory firm.


Jerry Rauch

Jerry Rauch is a member of St. Joan of Arc Parish in Grosse Pointe Woods, and the owner/partner of a real estate brokerage and consulting firm. He has served as the chair of his Parish Council, as a leader of the Total Stewardship Program, and is on the Finance Commission.


Jeanne V. Robinson

Jeanne V. Robinson and is a member of St. Mary Parish in St. Clair and works in Logistics Management for the US Air Force. She has served as an RCIA catechist for four years, and is an active volunteer in many areas of her parish.


Sr. Barbara Rund, O.P.

Sr. Barbara Rund, O.P. is the Pastoral Associate at St. Hugo of the Hills Parish of Bloomfield Hills. She has served in Congregation Leadership for her order, the Adrian Dominican Sisters and chaired their strategic planning committee. She has been on the Parish Council for 30 years, and serves on the Education, Service, Stewardship, and Worship Commissions.


Deacon Hubert Sanders

Deacon Hubert Sanders of Detroit is assigned to Presentation/Our Lady of Victory Parish in Detroit, and is retired from the US Army Reserves where he was involved in planning military strategy, and from Tri-County Beverage Company. At the parish, he is especially involved with the Worship Commission, teaches bible study and young adult apologetics, and plans the Parish adult education, capital improvement, and Christian service outreach efforts.


Brian Sadowski

Brian Sadowski is a member of St. Florian Parish in Hamtramck, and is an Academic Specialist for Special Tree Rehabilitation System Neuroskills Center, where he develops educational programming for children with traumatic brain injuries. He is the chair of his Parish Council and served on the his vicariate's Together in Faith Committee, and is currently.


Fr. William Tindall

Fr. William Tindall (Vice Chair) is the pastor of St. Michael Parish in Livonia. He served on the Together In Faith Tracking Committee, is a member of the College of Consultors, is the former chair of the Presbyteral Council, and has served on the Priest Pension Board.


 
Criteria for APC Representatives
 
Archdiocesan Pastoral Council Representatives are nominated by the Vicars.  They serve a minimum of 2 years, at the will of the Archbishop.  Finally, they meet each of the following criteria.
  • Are a fully initiated, active, practicing Catholic in good standing and a member of a parish.
     
  • Have experience in strategic planning, either in the work place, in the parish, or as a volunteer.
     
  • Are a current or past member of their Parish Pastoral Council or Vicariate Pastoral Council.
     
  • Have participated in the Together In Faith Pastoral Planning process with either their parish or their vicariate.
     
  • Have an understanding of archdiocesan structures such as the Central Service offices, Vicariate and Parish Pastoral Councils, Presbyteral Council, etc.
     
  • Are committed to serving on the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council for 2 years.
     
  • Have the endorsement of their Vicar and Vicariate Pastoral Council.
