Suggests Prayer May Be Helpful
Vatican Issues 10 Commandments for Motorists

"Guidelines for the Pastoral Care of the Road" - The Vatican addresses the pastoral needs of motorists in the recently-issued document that includes Ten Commandments for Drivers and suggests praying before starting out and while behind the wheel.  It also praises the benefits of driving, including family outings, transporting the sick to the hospital, and allowing people to travel to and from work. A spokesman says the Vatican felt it necessary to issue the document because driving has become such a big part of contemporary life.
