Cardinal Adam Maida, archbishop of Detroit, will celebrate the 15th Annual Mass for Commerce at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, October 15, in the chapel of Sacred Heart Major Seminary, 2701 Chicago Blvd., Detroit. A breakfast will follow.
The Mass for Commerce is for Detroit's business community. It is designed to remind Catholic men and women of all professions and at all levels of business of the necessity of incorporating their faith into their daily lives.
It is a reminder to the business community that they are not just business and professional people who happen to be Catholic, but people who recognize the need for the Holy Spirit to be with them, guiding them every day.
You are invited to cover this event. Sacred Heart Major Seminary is located at 2701 Chicago Blvd, at the corner of Linwood, in Detroit. For more information, call John Sier at (313) 965-2914 or visit
