In September of 2008, Fr. Jerome Murphy-O'Connor, renowned scholar on St. Paul, presented a lecture, St. Paul, His Story, in the Detroit archdiocese. He appeared in conjunction with the 175th anniversary celebration of St. Paul on the Lake Church in Grosse Pointe Farms. Topics included the life and times of the Apostle to the Gentiles, his missionary activity, and his letters which form a significant portion of the New Testament.
