Questions for Reflection and Prayer: Discerning a Calling to Ministry in the Church

Mission Possible Logo

  1. Is your relationship with God a central aspect of your life?

  2. Are you increasingly aware of gifts and talents that you have been given which could be of service to the people of God?

  3. Are people drawn to you as a person of faith from whom they seek guidance and counsel?

  4. Do you derive much joy and satisfaction from the time you now spend as a volunteer in various groups or ministries at church?

  5. When engaged in your non-church work or profession, do you find yourself feeling unfulfilled and yearning to do more for God?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, the Lord may be calling you to service in the church.
